Midwest Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery in Evansville, Indiana, is looking for a motivated audiologist to join our team in providing audiologic support in a privately owned ENT practice. We have satellite offices in Vincennes, IN, Tell City, IN, and Henderson, KY. Weekly travel to one or more of these offices may be required with a company car provided for transportation.
Our team provides audiological support for three ENT physicians and one physician’s assistant. The Hearing Center at our Evansville location provides our team a separate check-in and waiting area, along with individual audiologist offices and a common workspace for hearing aid repairs. We have a receptionist who fields phone calls and handles our scheduling, as well as an audiology assistant who provides clerical support to each audiologist. Each audiologist’s schedule is divided for approximately 50% diagnostics and 50% hearing aid time.

Job Duties include the following:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiological testing
- Perform middle ear analysis using tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing
- Perform vestibular testing, including VNG and CDP (training provided)
- Perform electrophysiology testing, including ABR, VEMP, and EcoG (training provided)
- Enter appropriate CPT and diagnostic codes within EMR
- Counsel patients regarding the use of hearing aids, including benefits and limitations, various technologies, styles, monaural versus binaural (treatment options include Phonak Lyric and osseointegrated devices)
- Conduct hearing aid demonstrations, orientations of new products, and hearing aid fittings utilizing real-ear verification
- Provide ongoing hearing aid follow-up care and counseling to patients, including minor hearing aid repairs
- Maintain appropriate records within CounselEAR and ModMed
- Review daily schedules and work with staff to prepare for upcoming appointments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA rules and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Job Qualifications
- Doctoral or master’s degree in audiology
- Eligibility for IN/KY state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology preferred
